Consignment sales

I *love* consignment sales. I love shopping period. I went to the Giggles & Grace sale @ Asbury this past weekend and they have GOOD stuff! I got Anna a smocked bishop for $10 and Hudson a few smocked outfits as well. I did buy some cute baseball jon jons since ball season is upon us!

and Anna went on a field trip with daddy a couple of weeks ago where I forgot to send the camera with him. She came to my office afterward and was so worn out she fell asleep in Ms. Vicki's office

Just in case your wondering..I would love to take pictures and post them of my eldest daughter. BUT..she's hit this stage. This...ick...stage. The stage where she thinks looking like this:
is cool. ICK ICK ICK. Ok..this may be the in thing right now..but it's so not cute. Tatum has fallen victim to the skinny jeans & shoes where the tongue is so fat you can't tie them or converse tennis shoes. I'm assuming this is payback for the grunge (kurt cobain) phase I went through and tortured my mother with. I'm sorry mom..and I swear I'll never do it again. Please, just give me back my little girl that wears cute little abercrombie & hollister polos and jeans that don't look like they've been painted on. Hair that looks like its been washed, fixed, and preferably with a ribbon..not intentionally slicked down and parted down the middle. I want to push the rewind button..I want to go back in time when she loved her pink cow girl boots with her cow print skirt and hairbows. PLEASE. Really Tatum....you and all the other kids that prefer to look this way...look like you would smell bad. :-X I hate you skinny jeans and ugly shoes. and pete wentz for making kids think this is cool.

She tells me when I pick out her clothes "I'm not wearing something so dorky". HELLO...your dad was voted best dressed in 1986...I think we know fashion. When I mentioned this little nugget of information to Tatum..."Yeah..well that was 17 years ago times have changed". Have I mentioned that math isn't her strongest subject?

sigh..and she's so gorgeous..minus the pete wentz look.

What the heck am I going to put on Avril Levine for Easter? ugh....

And this is where I just came home from...

how gorgeous is that? Unfortunately the weather wasn't that pretty the entire time but at least as we were leaving it was pretty..lol.

We had a great time on Hudson's 1st trip! Saturday (Valentine's day) we went to the Mardi Gras parade were the girls racked up on beads!

but they weren't the only ones with beads!Sun night we went to eat at the kids favorite place in Panama City Beach..Margaritaville. Here they are hanging with daddy while everybody is getting ready.

After we ate we changed clothes, ran on the beach, I snapped 2 pics and ran off. It was rather chilly..how cute are they? (Btw...mr. man's outfit..9 months)

Here are my..I meant Anna's cute little valentines this year.



They were really easy. It was a digital kit I downloaded, popped the names in, printed out and stapled to a little baggie that I put a few hershey kisses in and power ranger valentines..viola!

I hope they're at hit at school tomorrow...

We had such a great weekend..

and a great week back to work. I *love* getting off of work now @ 3:30 and I'm so blessed to have my mother taking care of Hudson.

Here are pics of brother after church in his Ragland smocked daygown & bib that is almost too little...sniff sniff. He's growing so so fast and he is the sweetest thing ever. Gosh I could just eat him up he's so sweet!

getting muddy...we had such a good time riding 4 wheelers all Sunday afternoon. Anna was amazed I was able to ride again. Of course Anna had to get us way out in the woods before she throws out a "I have to go to the bathroom"...so she experience a first..being at one with nature...aka peeing in the woods. She giggled the entire time.

It's official....I have turned into my mother. The entire time we were riding I found myself yelling "Anna look forward" (she has a tendency to turn around and look behind her while still giving the gas full throttle), "Dont turn so sharp", "Slow down", "Dont ride so close to your sister". You get the idea...my throat hurt that night from yelling all day. Of course when I tell my mother that I have turned into her she replied with, "um no..because I would've never let you on a 4-wheeler when you were young" and that is the truth!

I love consignment sales..especially when you have a fast growing baby that you don't want to spend lots of $$ on for things like pj's because you know you'll take the tags off and they'll be too small in a week or two.
