Our Christmas Card

This year I did a non traditional tri fold card..very different for me.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve started with crazy hair from this gorgeous beast!

I'll spare you mine!

and we (Anna) decorated a gingerbread house

isn't it funny that a brush never hit that hair but a hair bow did?

and Hudson loved it too..he could barely contain himself

fell asleep with hand in lunch (it's pizza. dont judge) and all. Unfortunately he didn't sleep long. So we got all gussied up for our family to come over.

You know you're created a habit whenever you get him dressed and "ooh and ahh" over him and he goes to the hallway and says "take my picture". HA! He didn't have this outfit on for long before he messed it up. So I changed him to match the plaid family

We ate a great dinner

and enjoyed our families being together

Then we got ready for Santa..leaving him our alarm code so the police won't be called (what has this world come to?)

and milk and cookies too

and off to bed we went anticipating for the man to come!

SANTA!!!

We went to see Santa a little late this year..Dec 22nd. Of course, it couldnt be a event with a my family without something Griswoldy from happening.

I couldn't believe Hudson didn't cry. He just hopped up there and said "HEY" like it was nothing.

It wasn't until we were done seeing Santa and had walked off did I notice this:

Me: Tatum..what the heck are you doing?
Tatum: There was a bat flying toward my head.
Me {thinking a baseball bat.}: No..there was no BAT flying toward your head.
Tatum: Yes..there is. There is a BAT in the mall.
Me: {still not putting 2+2 together}
Tatum: SEE THERE IT IS..flying around.

Sure enough, there was a bat FLYING around in the mall.

I secretly think it was my love for Halloween letting me know that all of the Christmas psychoness will be over soon. :)

December flew by and Christmas is over!

I swear time is going at warp speed. This month..I made a effort to take the kids picture almost everyday. They were mostly taken in the mornings. Mornings around here..well..you can see for yourself what they are like.

 The earth was clearly off it's axis that day. Hudson didn't want a picture. Tatum wanted in. I may have purposely listened to Christmas music. (and let's not forget to mention Auburn is in the National Championship. off it's axis)

12-23and on this day it was a tennis ball and baby lotion..but hey..he's smiling.

So there are our days leading up to Christmas. Add in some cheerleading, 9 weeks tests x 2, Christmas parties, gymnastics, dance classes, pitching lessons, girl scouts, nervous breakdowns and we're full force into the Holidays!

Christmas day 2010

Maybe I shouldn't update since I'm in a bad mood (for really no reason..or maybe I'm just not in the mood to write?) and Christmas isn't my favorite holiday.. but I'm going to anyway. yay.

and lookie here..my 13 year old getting her ipod touch. That was dropped and broken within 48 hrs AND she's locked out of it (i'm at the library right now trying to restore it). (see..chipper mood!)

Anna got a new friend to come live with her

Look Tatum got new Toms for Christmas. I wonder if these will have a hole in the toe by summer like the last ones. I can tell you..they are already filthy (SEE..GOOD MOOD?)

and Anna's new AG doll got a matching brownie uniform that I wonder if Anna will ever get to wear since they changed the brownie meetings from Thursday to Monday. (She has gymnastics on Mondays. Nice). (I know..great mood).

and Tatum got another pair of RED Toms..yes 2 pr. Santa must have thought she had been good all year (Ahem..)

and this sweet guy got overloaded with THOMAS stuff!

and woo hoo. We had a white Christmas. This is as close as we got to it.

So..there was our Christmas..I'm glad it's over. (I know great mood and all)
